“the pen is mightier than the sword”

“Individuals who profit from or encourage the distribution of alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and recreational drugs are the enemies of freedom and democracy. Alcoholic beverages, tobacco products and recreational drugs do not free people. They debilitate and enslave people. Choose friends and role models who do not use alcohol, tobacco or drugs.

“Uncivilized people create problems with wine, beer, whisky, recreational drugs, sex, their fists, guns and other weapons. Civilized people solve problems with a drug-free mind, sound nutrition, dialog, tools, computers and books.

“It is peculiar that while the U.S. government, corporate America, Jewish and Christian religious institutions and the medical professions officially encourage alcoholic beverage consumption as a method for celebration, for socialization, for relaxation and for medication, our criminal justice system wrongly criminalizes those consumers who resultantly become dysfunctional as a direct result of consuming alcoholic beverages. Victims of alcoholism do NOT belong in jail or in prison, nor do victims of drug dependency.

“A civilized criminal justice system educates rather than punishes.

“Poverty and guns do not exist in a true democracy. Nor do prisons.”
